SIG’S
EEUK Special Interest Groups (SIG’s) are designed to foster a sense of connection across domains, bringing together Enterprise Educators around areas of common interest. These vibrant networks are catalysts for change, enabling excellence and knowledge exchange across a wide variety of subject areas. Through regular interaction with segments of the EEUK network, our SIG’s nurture knowledge and understanding, develop practice and enhance impact.

A SIG is a group of people who come together around a shared interest and a passion to share knowledge and improve research and/or practice. They often cross geographical and professional boundaries and are self-managed by members of the community.

Current Chair: Emily Beaumont and Lucy Hatt
Launched with ISBE (the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship), the Research in Enterprise Education SIG is intended to explicitly link together the research and practice arms of the EntEd discipline.
Current Chair: Helen Hook
This group is dedicated to promoting excellence in enterprise education and employability across the higher education sector. With a focus on careers and employability services, as well as other key university stakeholders, the SIG aims to foster accessibility and inclusivity in all aspects of enterprise practice. Through this group, members will contribute to policy discussions and explore opportunities for cross-membership collaborations, leveraging our collective voice to influence and shape the future of enterprise education.

Entrepreneurial Coaching is increasingly used across enterprise education and startup support, but it remains under-defined as a distinct practice. This SIG brings together enterprise educators, coaches and practitioner-researchers to share approaches, strengthen professional practice, and build an evidence base for coaching entrepreneurs.

This group is dedicated to empowering Enterprise Educators to play a key role in shaping a more sustainable future. By addressing the interconnected challenges of social, environmental, and ecological sustainability, the SIG supports educators in driving meaningful change and fostering innovative solutions.
