FOR MEMBERS

Funding Opportunities

Discover grants, bursaries, and collaborative funds available exclusively to EEUK members — supporting enterprise education projects, professional development, and student entrepreneurship.

Enterprise Educators UK offers a range of funding streams designed to unlock new activity across our membership community. Whether you are piloting a campus enterprise project, supporting student founders, or investing in your own professional development, there is a route to apply.

Use the tabs above to explore the Impact Fund and Bursaries in more detail. Each opportunity has its own eligibility criteria, deadlines, and application process — and our team is happy to advise if you are unsure which is the best fit.

IMPACT FUND

Collaborative grants for member organisations delivering enterprise education projects with measurable community impact.

BURSARIES

Financial support for individuals attending IEEC, Fast Track, and other EEUK professional development programmes.

The Impact Fund enables member organisations to co-deliver ambitious enterprise education projects. Successful applicants typically work in partnership with another member institution and demonstrate clear outcomes for students, educators, or the wider enterprise ecosystem.

Applications open annually. Projects should show how funding will unlock activity that would not otherwise happen, and how learning will be shared back with the EEUK community.

WHO CAN APPLY

Open to UK member organisations applying as a collaborative partner with at least one other EEUK member.

WHAT WE FUND

Pilot programmes, shared resources, regional events, and evaluation activity that strengthens enterprise education practice.

Bursaries help individual members access EEUK’s flagship learning experiences — including the International Entrepreneurship Educators Conference (IEEC) and Fast Track training — when cost would otherwise be a barrier.

Priority is given to early-career educators, those from under-represented backgrounds, and colleagues based in organisations with limited professional development budgets. Awards typically cover registration fees and may contribute toward travel.

WHAT IT COVERS

Conference registration, selected training fees, and in some cases a contribution toward travel and accommodation.

WHEN TO APPLY

Bursary rounds typically open ahead of IEEC and major Fast Track cohorts — watch the newsletter for deadlines.

Policy

Policies related to enterprise education are incredibly important to our members as we know that policy decisions frequently impact on the funding available to deliver enterprise education, as well as mandating what areas of activity should be measured.

For example, in England, the changing distribution of the Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF) has directly influenced the scale of enterprise education delivery in many universities.

EEUK works hard to build productive relationships with those who influence policy in Westminster and the devolved administrations, ensuring member voices are heard when decisions about enterprise education are made.

NATIONAL RECOGNITION

Gain recognition through the EEUK Fellowship

This is a great scheme providing recognition for all involved in promoting and celebrating enterprise and entrepreneurial education in the UK post-compulsory sector.

Whether you are early in your career or an established leader, Fellowship offers a clear pathway to showcase contribution, connect with peers, and strengthen your institutional profile.

I love how everything's so modular. I can hack features, push code, and watch the updates go live without manual tinkering.

The bigger picture

Why EEUK?

Block Title

At Enterprise Educators UK our purpose is to enable excellence in enterprise education. The development of this individual award for enterprise educators supports our ambitions “to help the sector to continue to increase the scale, scope and effectiveness of enterprise and entrepreneurship education and practice” by providing national recognition for those working as enterprise educators.

The EEUK membership spans the full range of roles and responsibilities that support enterprise and entrepreneurship. EEUK recognises that many staff bring expertise from their own discipline and/or previous employment/experience to deliver excellent enterprise education across their institution.

It is in recognition of the personal development and career needs of EEUK members and others working in the sector, that EEUK created this professional standard for all those working to deliver entrepreneurial outcomes in others.

EEUK has created three professional pathways to Fellowship — academic, practitioner or influencer — ensuring that all those contributing to the enterprise eco-system are recognised equally.
