Overview

The tool allows teachers, educators and institutional leaders to assess the influence of their educational initiatives on pupils' and students' entrepreneurial skills. This is scalable to all levels of education.

Themes

Conscientiousness, enterprising skills, entrepreneurial attitudes, entrepreneurial behaviour, entrepreneurial intentions, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, finance, innovative employee, leadership, locus of control, managing ambiguity, marshalling resources, motivation: extrinsic and intrinsic, network, persistence, planning, pro-activity, social capital, teamwork, creativity and social background.

Uses

The test offers educators and institutional leaders a way to assess the development of students' entrepreneurial skills to inform curriculum development. Although the site claims the that tool is aimed at all levels of education it mainly markets itself toward primary and secondary educators.

Question Format

Note: We reviewed the Higher Education Questions: The version of the tool we reviewed included a range of demographic questions which explored the respondent and their background. These included a range of open and closed questions. Where rating systems were used these were (generally) a three answer scale with a positive, negative and neutral response. The rest of the tool contained a range of questions, most used the same three answer scale. Six questions (entrepreneurial behaviour) were Yes/No formats and two questions used a seven point Likert scale 1 (Worthless/Low) - 7 (Worthwhile/High).
