Overview
The profile provides an overview of how enterprising (entrepreneurial) an individual’s mindset might be. It does this by examining a range of skills and capabilities which it identifies as being part of this mindset in an effort to help the individual benchmark themselves against a pre-defined norm.
Themes
There are two scales in place, Personality and Skills. Personality encompasses independence, preference for limited structure, nonconformity, risk acceptance, action orientation, passion and need to achieve. The Skills scale includes future focus, idea generation, executive, self-confidence, optimism, persistence and interpersonal sensitivity.
Uses
The profile is marketed primarily as self-development tool, benchmarking reportees to trigger reflection. However, it does offer group reporting and can be used to review teams in a similar fashion. When marketing to educators the potential as a research platform is also presented.
Question Format
The profile is formatted into 72 Likert scale questions, ranging from 1 (Does Not Describe Me Well) to (5 Describes Me Very Well). There are also a number of socio-demographic questions which both collect data on the respondent; their education and employment status.

Results
The ten page individual feedback report provides scores on fourteen discrete scales that fall within two broad domains: a) the personality characteristics and motivations that often distinguish entrepreneurs from non-entrepreneurs and b) the cognitive and behavioural skill dimensions which indicate how entrepreneurs typically approach tasks and the abilities they demonstrate. The report uses graphs and score sheets to present the results against its benchmarks. The report requires an accompanying development guide (67 pages) to fully interpret the results which includes tips and strategies for improvement and resources for further development. The fourteen scales are: Independence, Preference for Limited Structure, Nonconformity, Risk Acceptance, Action Orientation, Passion, Need to Achieve, Future Focus, Idea Generation, Executive, Self-Confidence, Optimism, Persistence, Interpersonal Sensitivity.
